Receiving a reward from your employer for excellence at your job is always welcome news.
For Melissa Coffey, the prizes have been a little more significant than a gift certificate or a cash bonus, though. An independent sales director for Mary Kay, she was recently awarded a four-wheel drive SUV – and it’s not the first time she’s won a vehicle.
Actually, Coffey has won five vehicles in the 10 years she’s operated her independent Mary Kay business. This time, she was awarded a black Saturn Vue AWD XE and said it’s her favorite car yet. It’s a hit with the entire family, including her husband and four-year-old child, Kendall.
It isn’t all about the cars and prizes for Coffey, though. She said she truly enjoys her career with Mary Kay. She says she enjoys selling products and working from home; however, there isn’t anything wrong with receiving prizes for her good sales.
